You say in the update suitable for guys. The videos are fine, but to track stuff have to make a Nike women account, at the very least make a separate Nike mens website for the guys to login into… Newest update still didn’t fix this update. Nike is really dropping the ball for us guys.

It would be nice to be warned toward the end of an exercise which exercise is next. Maybe in the final 5-10 sec a comment to let you know what equipment you will be needing next

This workout training coach will help you get into shape using the C25K system, a series of interval workouts, each about 30 minutes, spanning 9 weeks, culminating in your ability to run 5 km (3.1 miles) without stopping or walking. This app was created by Lucius Kwok and Kasten Searles.

Just like every other person who has reviewed this, I have gone from not being able to walk up a long flight of stairs without being short of breath to running for 28 minutes without stopping. Trust me, it’s amazing. I have a long history of not sticking with exercise plans and gym memberships and this is the first time in 20 years that I have been in such good shape. The only change that I would suggest is to add gps, to gauge how far you’re actually running. Because, as it turns out, I’m a pretty slow runner and in 28 minutes I am only running just over 2 miles. So adding something to the app to tell you to pick up the pace a little might be helpful to future users to make sure they are actually at 5k at the end of 9 weeks. I still give it 5 stars though!
Three Issues (by kurious_kevin)
1. Need to be able to bridge/upgrade to longer distances. Didn’t realize same maker had a 10k version, and now need a 12k – 15k variety version.

2. GPS would be grand – just so we vain sorts can see how far & how fast we’ve run.

3. Sometimes if you accidentally hit pause on it, the music keeps going, but the program has stopped running.

Otherwise, darn keen app.

I think of all the Yoga apps i’ve tried this one is the best. The voice is soothing and the background music is good. I love how you can create your own music playlist. I use it with an iHome speaker clock and there is absolutely no issues hearing the music or the instruction of voice. If i could change one thing about the program it would be to make more preloaded routines instead of having to create your own. For the novice this can be quite difficult. After all is said though, great job!

Fabulous app, but… (by Wes Webber)
Everything included in this app is outstanding, with the exception of one major ‘But’. The workouts are all world-class, described in excellent detail so someone completely inexperienced could walk into a gym and start something right away. That said, while I do understand it is in the publishers interest to promote the workout expansion pack, there is absolutely zero reason for you to not be able to put together your own workout routine. There are 4 or 5 workouts that ive been working out (no pun intended) of for a few weeks, and its an insanely frustrating time waster to have to back all the way out to the homescreen just to go and find a different exercise to log a set of. Also, in the exercise list, whats the problem with having the A-Z scroll on the side so I don’t have to scroll through every single routine when i’m trying to get to something toward the bottom. Now that I think of it, forcing me to sit through the splash page with the situation showing off his abs EVERY SINGLE TIME is a big one, too. Like I said, great app, but a few corners cut to increase in-app purchases really take what could be the finishing touches to a masterpiece and make this otherwise stellar app insanely frustrating to use at times.

Ok for all the people who can’t read, it does not say specifically, YOU WILL BE ABLE TO DO 100 PUSHUPS IN SIX WEEKS. It says follow this six week program and you will be on your way to completing 100 push ups. The six weeks is just the program itself, not the exact amount. Besides, depending on how strong somebody already is, they might be able to do 100 in six weeks or less, or if your weaker it may take eight. The point is, this app will allow you to be able to 100 in around six weeks.

Anyways, I love this app! I am only on Week 1 Day 3, but I can already see that the amount of Pushups I can do is gradually increasing, and I can’t wait to see how much I improve strength wise. I hope you continue to make updates to this app and add more features to help people more. I will let you know when I am able to do a 100 pushups consecutively. Thanks guys!

Update: Week three and working great! But after update every time I go to look at my graph, it crashes! Fix please!!

Update: Thanks for fixing the graphs from crashing by the way. Wow I’m on week six! I’ve gotten a lot stronger, and can now do around 60-75 without stopping. I start week six this monday, and I looked at the workout, and it looks scary! I may have to redo week six after I finish it, but hey, I want to do one hundred without stopping! And for the babies saying that it gets to hard, well then either redo a week, or make the amount of pushups smaller. If you can’t do the required pushups somewhat easily by week three, you either have very small patience or you just need to redo a week. Don’t be afraid to redo a week, because it’s better to feel prepared then to feel absolutely miserable. But don’t worry, you WILL feel horrible from week 5-6 if you are the average person. I’ll get back to you guys when I do one hundred. Wish me luck!
Terrible progressions…at times huge jumps in reps! (by JLB7289)
I am VERY disappointed…purchased the app for a nice progressive program to up my pushup numbers. For the first two or three weeks, so far so good. But wow, all of a sudden the reps for the next workout jumped up not one or two reps per set but four or five!?! That’s not progression, it was as if the app wasn’t really taking into account the initial number of pushups I could do.

Now I am stuck with workouts that ask for far more reps than I can currently do. You can, before you begin, adjust the reps for that day’s workouts, but the NEXT workout doesn’t take your adjustments into account and adjust the subsequent reps you should do.

A big disappointment.

This app was originally a book that they decided to put on the ipod. The book is I think still $20, so for the money, you are already getting a better deal. Now that they added the videos, it is all the better. This book is and can be the only fitness book in your library and you would have no problem ever being "out of shape."
